Last year it was the Book and Arts Festival and this year, on May 20, we will be putting up postbox toppers on behalf of the 115th year anniversary for 1st Nairn Scouts. “We do Easter/Remembrance/Christmas and as a group we also agreed to do one other localised theme each year. Easter 2023 Yarnbombers Nairn Postbox Toppers. “Many have asked if we accept donations and we are fortunate that the local Nairn Wool Shop has agreed to accept donations on our behalf. “There are some wonderfully talented people and we are so lucky to have them give their time, talent and even cost to continue with the Yarnbombers Nairn Postbox Toppers’ Trail. Over the last year or so this has grown to about 10 and our postbox toppers are now 17 in number covering Nairn, Auldearn, Cawdor, Brackla and Piperhill. “On my first request for help I was lucky to have four people offer their help. It was at this time I knew I would need to try and gather a team together to help if the project was to continue. Needless to say, I quickly realised that it was becoming expected to have creations out again for Easter. “The first Christmas was amazing as the feedback came thick and fast while everyone was in the dark about the crafter.
